Mascara application tips
Mascara is an essential part of any makeup routine, as it can make your eyes look more awake and defined. When applying mascara, it's important to start with clean and dry lashes. You can use an eyelash curler beforehand to help lift and curl your lashes.
When applying
mascara, start at the base of your lashes and wiggle the wand back and forth as
you move it upward. This will help to evenly distribute the product and prevent
clumps. If you want a more dramatic look, you can apply a second coat once the
first coat has dried.
To prevent
smudging or flaking throughout the day, it's important to choose a mascara that
is long-wearing and waterproof if necessary. You can also use a clear mascara
on your lower lashes if you prefer a more natural look.
If you accidentally get mascara on your skin, don't panic! Wait for it to dry, then use a clean spoolie brush or cotton swab to gently remove it. Don't rub or smear the mascara, as this can make the problem worse.
Remember to replace your mascara every three to six months to prevent bacteria buildup and potential eye infections. And, as with all makeup products, if you experience any irritation or discomfort while using mascara, discontinue use and consult a doctor if necessary.
